Raj,
What I have done is use the LabVIEW VISA VI's to communicate with the base mote through the serial port or USB interface (I have done this with both Mica2 and Tmote Sky motes). This way, you do not even use Serial Forwarder, you will have Labview initialize all the port settings and then you can write and read packets directly using the VISA VI's.
