Hi,

Firstly, create a folder to dump all your cvs downloads in. I put mine in
cygwin/opt/cvsdownloads. Navigate your cygwin prompt so you are within your
cvsdownloads folder. Then follow the instructions to log in and download the
content:
http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=28656

The command to download content becomes something like:

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/tinyos checkout -P modulename

for your purposes modulename will probably be /tinyos-1.x/contrib/minitasks,
but you can browse all the content at http://tinyos.cvs.sourceforge.net/tinyos/

This will then put the whole minitasks folder within your cvsdownloads folder.
I actually dumped the whole contrib directory onto my system, which I could
then make use of later. You will need to keep the apps within their own tree to
compile them as they have their own libraries etc.

Also make sure that you arent being blocked by a firewall. This could prevent
your downloads and not give you any dialog to inform you.

I also found this useful:

http://cvsbook.red-bean.com/cvsbook.html#A%20Day%20With%20CVS

What platform are you using? I'm currently trying to get the vanderbilt
localisation working on my micaz and am having lots of trouble with the timers.

Mike

Subject: [Tinyos-help] Help!Vanderbilt Acoustic localisation

Hi!
I want to have a try of Vanderbilt Acoustic Localisation Component, but I don't
know how to to download the FULL minitasks/02/vu CVS directory from SourceForge.
Should I download files one by one?

Thanks in advance!
