An important part of the TinyOS 2.0 process is moving TEPs from Draft
to Final status. A TEP (TinyOS Enhancement Proposal) documents a part
of the TinyOS system. TEPs in Draft status are open to review and
modification. TEPs in Final status do not change; as they describe
the existing systems, this represents settling on a set of stable
interfaces and abstractions.
Part of the process of moving from Draft to Final is a period of
community review. An external reviewer, selected by the TinyOS
Alliance Steering Committee (currently, the Alliance WG), shepherds
the TEP through community review.
TEP 101 (Analog to Digital Converters) is beginning the finalization
process. Its external reviewer is Professor Jack Stankovic. The text
of the TEP can be found here:
http://www.tinyos.net/tinyos-2.x/doc/html/tep101.html
As with the discussions of TEP 103, comments on 101 can be either
sent to the mailing list or directly to the external reviewer. There
is also a discussion wiki, for those that prefer a web interface:

The deadline for comments is August 10th.
