Hi everybody,

I have a question concerning copyright/header/author issues ... not that expert of licensing terms & specs, I admit :-)

let's say I modify one of the tos files to accomodate my needs, how do I change the header? for instance, I'm writing HAA files to support ATMega32 MCUs, and, given the similarities with its bigger brother ATMega128, I'm modifying the files inside chips/atm128 instead of starting from scratch now, the headers correctly report the authors and their affiliations (UCB, Intel Corp, etc), I guess I should leave them and add my name/organization to the bottom of the list, is this correct?
thank you for the attention, bye

Yeah, that's what you do. You'll notice that some files (especially in 1.x) have two copyright notices, following this practice.
