1) I originally wrote TEP105 and no one in this group (or any other group) has ever asked me to help revisit it, including David Culler.
2) I don't recall any discussions where it was concluded to be "trickier than originally thought." Any reference(s) clearing up items #1 or #2 would be appreciated. Since Boomerang addresses some of the implementation issues with TEP105, I'd be happy to discuss how these can be addressed, including Time Stamping, which is sorely lacking from both TinyOS 1.x and 2.x releases. Frequency agility is another sorely missing item that I sought to define in TEP105. Please have David Culler contact me if he is actively working on this TEP. They were early attempts at defining abstractions which turned out to be much trickier than originally thought. David Culler is leading an effort to revisit TEP 105. For now, 104 is inactive.
