I would like to use Mica2s to do an experiment that involves the
sensors transmitting to each other at a high rate. The physical size
of the experiment will be fairly small, so I was hoping to collect all
the packets onto my computer using TOSBase (no routing, just straight
up listening). I suspect that this is not possible due to a bottleneck
at the base. I am having trouble finding the exact limit on the rate
of packets that the mote with TOSBase can accept when using Mica2s. It
looks like 53 packets/sec is the limit, could someone confirm this?
Also, could someone point me towards a guide on exactly how the
transmission scheme works? Things like, how long does it take to
transmit/decode a packet and if/what kind of queueing goes on at the
receiving end.
