Not sure what you mean...but since xbow is selling it and
say that is is compatible with mica2,z, I guess it works...
sortof at least

Subject: Re: [Tinyos-help] How to connect external sensors
Well, you know, the whole thing is called a _sensor_ network, so basically
the main point of the micro-controller is to attach sensors to computers
somehow...That said, there are not a whole lot of examples, compared, say,
to routing algorithms...
Look in the tos/sensorboards directories for some examples and trace them
back to the actual controller inputs that are used.
Mostly you'll find that the ADC and a few adhoc binary pins have been
implemented. Almost nothing for the counter/timer pins, and as far as I can
tell, el zippo for attaching stuff by UART. There's a bit of noise on the
list about SPI and I2C and I guess some underlying code, but I haven't used
it.
Over the last year or so I have handheld a number of projects that wanted to
connect things (like the CMUcam) via the UART, and when the time came to get
the grade many of them had something working, but I never got a chunk of
code out of it. One guy must have been successful because he promised me a
bottle of scotch as a reward for his getting a degree. But I never got it...
Now that I have been a bit annoying, perhaps people will post links to code
and doc that I have missed, ignored, or forgotten.
I'm often tempted to flesh out the ATMEGA support myself, but then again,
why bother...

What about external digital devices to MicaZ? Use UART1?
Any example code in TinyOS 1.x? Thanks.

look at the use of the ADC component(s), e.g., for mica's:
tinyos....\tos\platform\mica2\ADCC.nc and ADCControl.nc

Hi all,
i'm working with Tmote Sky modules; i want to connect
external sensor (for example pluviometer, anemometer) with the
expansion connectors on board on Tmote sky modules; I have to make
software connections, do you have developed components able to
connect adc interface to external sensor, for sampling from the analog
connector?
what I have to do?
Thanx a lot
