It does not. One of the motivations behind the TOSSIM architecture in
2.x, however, was to enable applications like TinyViz without a huge
performance penalty. TinyViz in 1.x runs in a separate process and
uses IPC to communicate with TOSSIM. Since TOSSIM 2 can be easily
controlled through Python or C, putting a GUI on top of it would be
simpler and more efficient (single process).
