The couple of adapters that we have tested/used
are:

We have found that not all adapters work reliably with
all PC makes and operating systems. The issue is at higher baud rates. The FTDI
chipset generally works better.

Hi all,
I am using mica2 motes with MIB510 programming board and
IBM laptop.
I have tried some USB to serial converters to program the
motes.
Nothing worked. Everytime I am getting the
"Programmer not
responding error".
On googling I have found only few adapters works for
prgramming the motes.
Can anybody give the specifications of the USB to
serial converters
that works with MIB510 programming board?
