I can't think of anything else off the top of my head at the moment. Have a look at this web page -> http://www.tinyos.net/dist-1.1.0/snapshot-1.1.15Dec2005cvs/doc/install-s napshots.html if you're still having issues. You may need to update other packages (read the bottom section under "Installing and Updating Packages")

Bryn, Yes there is an automated .exe installer. When I tried updating to the tinyos1.1.10Jan.. version i got the failed dependancies error ; ncc 1.1.1 >= required.... So, I installed the nesc1.2.7b. Currently im downloading the tinyos 1.1.15Dec... version and will try the make mica2 command and see what happens. What else do you think I can do? If you ran the automated .exe I'm not sure what could be wrong. If you just installed the tinyos .rpm file you will probably need to install other stuff from the CD (including the nesC rpm and the other AVR Tools rpm files) - see the listing at the bottom of page 13 here -> http://www.xbow.com/Support/Support_pdf_files/Getting_Started_Guide.pdf Hope this helps! Bryn, I am using Cygwin with version tinyos1.1.10Jan2005cvs-1.cygwin.noarch.rpm. I got this rpm from the Crossbow CD. As far as I know, I have followed the procedures from the manual. Thanks. Sundaresh. On 9/27/06, Bryn Smith <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: That is an installation error. It means that it cannot find the nesC for TinyOS compiler called ncc. What version are you running? What system are you running on? Linux or Cygwin? Have you installed from source, rpms or cvs? If you provide this information it may help. You may also want to go through the installation procedures carefully.
