All the versions in that dir are older than the usual binutils and gcc used with mspgcc.
Should I just get the RPMS and install them on my debian machine?

Whoops. It looks like the permissions are funny. That's strange, because they used to work fine. I've sent email to the person who owns the files (Kristin).
