Although I did not try the location plugin but I experienced the same problem when reading from an ADC channel in my simulations in Tossim/TinyViz. The FakeLocation component also does the same i.e. it reads the coordinates from certain ADC channels. Maybe someone from the devel team can shed some light on this strange behaviour.
