To see available option is xlisten command, type "xlisten -?". They are also listed in Section 5.3.1 of Crossbow's Getting Started Guide.

Unless you have a compatible Mote network (XSensor or XMesh) running and base station node programmed with proper code (TOSBase or XMeshBase), xlisten console won't display anything. Please refer to the above guide for further details.

Subject: [Tinyos-help] What command runs Xlisten?

Hi All,

What command do I use to run Xlisten? I tried entering xlisten in the /src dir, but no messages/ errors / data appeared after that. Example like below:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] /opt/tinyos-1.x/contrib/xbow/tools/src
$ xlisten

[EMAIL PROTECTED] /opt/tinyos-1.x/contrib/xbow/tools/src
$

What does this mean? Is xlisten running in the background?

Thanks.

Sundaresh.
