Dear Daniel, Are you sure about this? I've just ran the simulation in tossim on a 40 node network and I don't see "Failed CRC" come up at all. Is your application using tos/platform/pc/RadioCRCPacket.nc? Also just to confirm, we are both using tinyos-1.x here right?

Dear Nikolas, I haven't studied the source code of Tiny OS but I have a question which is just the complement of yours: could someone please guide me as to how get collision simulation NOT working in tossim? If you start an application with 100 or more nodes in tossim, you will notice that CRC errors will happen even if you use the "simple" model for the channel... the "lossy" model can be turned on by setting the option "-r=lossy" when you run main.exe.
