If you program a Mote with Blink, the Red LED will
flash once every second. This is expected behavior from this app. If you want to
go back to SurgeView demo, you need to re-program the base station with
surge_reliable application. This has been explained in Getting Started Guide.
Alternatively, your better option to visualize network and sensor data
is MoteView that can be downloaded for free from Crossbow's website
below.
