Hi, I am trying to control the sleeping and wake-up cycle of Micaz motes. I am using Comm.start & Splitcontrol.start (linked to GenericCommPromiscuous and CC2420ControlM respectively) to turn-on the radio. Likewise, I am using Comm.stop & Splitcontrol.stop to put the motes to sleep. To date, I am only able to put the motes to sleep, but unable to wake them up. Do I need to implement a timer delay after the Comm.start & Splitcontrol.start commands, due to hardware delay limitations?
I read in the mail archive that to turn off the radio, I should use HPLPowerManagement. However, under the Micaz platform, I cannot locate the HPLPowerManagement.nc. I can only find HPLPowerManagement.nc under the Mica2 platform. Does that mean Micaz cannot used HPLPowerManagement? Can someone advise me which is the correct way to control the sleeping/wake-up cycles of Micaz motes? Using Comm.start/SplitControl.start or HPLPowerManagement? Henry
