dangit....see my just completed missive to the list for another matlab user,
maybe putting the right paths in the environment will work.
I'm also not sure about the backslash thing. Use forward slashes?
And you have compiled the relevant class files.
They are where you claim (to matlab) they are, right?
Otherwise, I'd have to start with a small experiment to see if
I could get anything to load. I haven't used matlab or (by extension)
it's extensions so I can't be much more help.

It's possible that the stupid space in "Program Files" is
causing you trouble. There may be a workaround like using
some variety of quotes, but you can test it by moving the
java stuff someplace else...
