The factory default group ID is 125 that you need to specify in
MakeXbowlocal file. Details are in Section 3.6.

I think your better bet might be to program the Motes with XMesh apps
that come with MoteView and use MoteView to visualize data. MoteView can
be downloaded from
http://www.xbow.com/Support/downloads.htm#moteview
