And once over that hoop...you may be able to switch in a lower
reference voltage for doing the conversion, assuming you can get the
range you want under the new Vref. I think this would require some
low-level ADC code hacking. Otherwise you'll probably have to
explore external sensors with an opamp pre-conditioner or some such.

Hi,

I'm carrying out some distributed temperature sensing using some MicaZs
and TinyOS 1.15. I want to know if there is a way of having a higher
resolution on the ADC sampling (by possibly using larger variables, or
restricting the dynamic range). The problem is that after conversion, I
only get a resolution of 0.2 Celsius from the thermistors.

Does anyone know how I could improve this?
