Adding the -shared flag where? Please, could you explain in more detail? I'm beginning with TinyOS and I'm following tutorials.

Here is something I found on Google: http://curl.haxx.se/mail/ archive-2003-01/0056.html This seems to come up for a small subset of Cygwin installations, I'm not sure which ones.
