I see a batch of requests for help for the crossbow mda320 sensor board, but I was wondering if anyone got it working? Looks like the A/D part of the board isn't going to work the same way as the MDA300, but the digital I/O should be ok. Both boards use the same digital I/O chip.
The A/D chip on the MDA320 is a Ti/Burr Brown ADS8344, which has a SPI interface. The MDA300 had a i2c A/D chip. So clearly the A/D part of the MDA300 driver is useless, and needs to be replaced. Can anyone offer any pointers on starting to write a driver for this chip. Are there other boards that use the SPI interface that I can copy from? Thanks, Eric
