I think I assigned an ip address. I used the Ludovic's solution at Ubuntu system not Vista because I don't have telnet utility in Vista system.
In ubuntu, 1. %sudo arp -s <The IP address> <the MAC address> the mac address is written on the MIB600 and the IP address has to match the network the MIB600 is plugged in. 2. Then to respectively enable and start the telnet connection, type : %telnet <the IP address> 9999 It will display a menu where you can configure the DHCP setting (use 0.0.0.0 as IP address to enable DHCP). 3. In my case, I assigned 10.0.0.5 and I asigned laptop as 10.0.0.10. Thank you again, Giri and Ludovic. SW.
