Alan,
It worked out fine in the end. The cvs wasn't working because the port
had a firewall on it. The reason I was emailing everyone was because I
could not find one of the files from the README.TOOLCHAIN. But it was
there on the sourceforge site. Now it works fine. I'm just trying to
get java to work now.
Thanks
Keerthi

If you are still stuck on this, then it is really simple to just get all the
sources for the individual components (binutils, gcc, glibc etc) from their
respective cvs repositories and build them from source yourself. There is a
readme at $TOSROOT/tools/src/mspgcc/README.TOOLCHAIN that details the
procedure.

Alan,
Yep sorry, I sent out an email a while ago and no one replied. So I
thought I might try a more generic email just to see if people had
successfully installed it on Linux.
I am trying to install Tmote Tools CD V2.0.4 (from boomerang). It
requires me to run a script found in
C:\cygwin\opt\tinyos-1.x\tools\src\mspgcc\ called build-mspgcc
When I run this, it cannot find the required files through CVS. I tried
searching for these files through google and I found most of them. The
only one I am having trouble finding is a file called mspgcc-cvs.tar.gz
So I thought if someone did install this file, then they would have a
copy of it in their C:\cygwin\opt\tinyos-1.x\tools\src\mspgcc\archive
directory.
Thanks
Keerthi
