I think you can install tinyos from source code(checkout the source code from CVS), which is Ubuntu-version independent.
 The relevant installation guide can be found on the following link:

i'll push out feisty packages sometime next week.

however, the edgy packages do work on feisty, though you might have some trouble connecting ttyUSB0. search the archives for the solution to that.
