Chen, I had the same problem and Yogesh helped me in solving this.
Try to do the following, it might solve your problem. open one cygwin window and execute: (the app that you want to run ) a. make pc b. export DBG=led c. build/pc/main.exe -gui 10 open another cygwin window (and go to path- opt/tinyos-1.x/tools/java/net/tinyos/sim) and execute a. make b. java net.tinyos.sim.TinyViz select the Debug Message plugin and press the play button.
