I checked and according to xlisten the light is measured in mv.

You are getting the raw ADC value, which is pretty much a 10 bit
percentage of the battery voltage. I believe the formulas to convert
to eng values are in the User Manual someplace, but should be taken
with a grain-of-salt as they say. Search this list for much discussion.
