Hi Chris, It sounds like you have Cygwin related issues. Did you install MoteWorks on top of previous version of TinyOS or Cygwin? The second error indicates that not all the tools properly got installed, which could very well be due to Cygwin issues. - Giri

I just installed MoteWorks (from www.xbow.com <http://www.xbow.com/> ) on my Windows XP. However, I have the following two problems: 1. After I double click Cygwin button: I got the following error: "C:\Crossbow\cygwin\bin\bash.exe (2308): *** fork: can't reserve memory for stack 0x30000 - 0x230000, Win32 error 487 4 [main] bash 3384 fork_parent: child 2308 died waiting for longjmp before initialization bash: fork: Bad file descriptor" 2. Following the manual of MoteWorks, I run one of its applications (Blink) using Programmer Notepad. make mica2 reinstall mib510,com1 I got the following error: "/opt/MoteWorks/make/avr/mib510.extra:5: *** MIB510 must be defined, try "make mica2 help". Stop." Where should I define MIB510? thanks for the information. chris ________________________________ Get the Yahoo! toolbar and be alerted to new email <http://us.rd.yahoo.com/evt=48225/*http://new.toolbar.yahoo.com/toolbar/ features/mail/index.php> wherever you're surfing.
