Have you previously been able to receive messages from re-Motes
using any set of programs? If not I would back-up and try something
simpler, like Oscilloscope (this works directly on the serial port
in T1, but I think "they" defaulted it to radio in T2, so there may
be some other direct-connect program...). If you can run something
that you know is sending messages, you can use Listen and ListenRaw
to see if you really get anything.

One small mysterious thing is that it may work if you try using the
platform (well, not the _actual_ platform...that's another story)
instead of the baudrate in the MOTECOM, ala: "COM7:mica2", and yes
I mean 2, not z...There are some internal message formatting issues
that "mica2" might fix.

I have a problem getting SenseLightToLog to work with my micaZ mote on the
MIB510. I
install the program just find with "make micaz reinstall,1 mib510,/dev/ttyS6"
and then I
can successfully run command "export [EMAIL PROTECTED]:57600" and "java
net.tinyos.tools.BcastInject start_sensing 5 1000" and I see the lights on the
mote light
up. However, I cannot "java net.tinyos.tools.BcastInject read_log 1" and times
out
everytime. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thanks
