Hi!

Hi Phil,

Now it works, thanks.

The update seems to have failed. I'm at a loss as to why the checkout
didn't work either. I tried several times yesterday evening and it hang
every time somewhere in the middle of the process. This morning it
worked fine.

CVS creates some locks [1] which can temporary hang a checkout. I encounter this problem only a few times so far. A slightly painful work-around for this is to obtain a local copy of the repository using rsync and checkout from there. The commands to do this are:
        rsync --exclude 'history' -av --delete
rsync://tinyos.cvs.sourceforge.net/cvsroot/tinyos/CVSROOT .
        rsync -av --delete
rsync://tinyos.cvs.sourceforge.net/cvsroot/tinyos/tinyos-2.x .
find tinyos-2.x -name '#cvs*' | xargs rm -rf
The size of the repository is about 90M.

Hi Phil,

Actually, I did not just do an update prior to submit the previous post,
I also did a complete export of the whole tinyos-2.x module. It still
doesn't work.

So I explicitly downloaded the .platform file for tos/platform/micaz and
it still doesn't work.

Can you look at the .platform file? Does it have entries such as

   %T/chips/cc2420
   %T/chips/cc2420/alarm
   %T/chips/cc2420/control
   %T/chips/cc2420/csma
   %T/chips/cc2420/interfaces
   %T/chips/cc2420/link
   %T/chips/cc2420/lowpan
   %T/chips/cc2420/lpl
   %T/chips/cc2420/packet
   %T/chips/cc2420/receive
   %T/chips/cc2420/spi
   %T/chips/cc2420/transmit
   %T/chips/cc2420/unique

Then, can you look in tos/chips/cc2420 and see if CC2420Packet is in
chips/cc2420/interfaces?

It works for me.

Phil
