It seems serial forwarder is not able to connect to the port 10002 on
192.168.8.233.

Before running serial forwarder, try to 'telnet 192.168.8.233 10002' on
the command line. 
If the screen goes blank, or at least if it doesn't report a connection
refused error, then the 
problem is not the port, but something else.
