Hi everyone, I attempt to compare the results of a Tossim simulation and of some other Simulator which doesn't use a MAC layer and assumes a unit-disc communication model. I would like setup my Tossim toplology and gain values so that I can mimic a certain communication range. When two nodes are within this range they can communicate with each other, otherwise they cannot. I think I understand the way I can generate gain values by providing positions of my nodes and a configuration describing the communication properties. Unfortunately I could not find any information whether two nodes will receive a message completely and correctly if their respective gains are above antenna sensitivity. In Tossim 1.x there was an bit-error approach used. How does gain translate into "message [NOT] successfully transmitted" ?
