I've just written a tutorial with newbie speed of understanding as its aim, from a new user standpoint, since I am one. Please read and understand this set of web pages so you can tell me how to improve them
while my short term grasp of its detail is good.

===========================
Lesson 10a provides an example of new platform creation starting with a program using the usually available 3 LEDs as a 3 bit display of values read from 8 MSP430 GPIO ports mapped to names Pin0 though Pin7. This tool is useful to debug new PCB layout wiring with low drama. How to interconnect tinyOS files is explained as we go, reinforcing when and why to use 3 levels of modules, HPL HAL and HIL, in tinyOS programming.
======================

If it gets well corrected and consensus that it helps, maybe it can go in the distribution lessons -- its in that style already. Else the Harvard Wiki can host it.

Thanks,

John Griessen
