I guess logical separation is more important - having the wiki under
wiki.tinyos.net would be quite generic, and could be moved around.

BTW, let me point out that the current link structure is also a bit
confusing, for example, when click on the TinyOS 2.0 documentation link
on the http://tinyos.net/ frontpage, the link actually is
http://webs.cs.berkeley.edu/tos/tinyos-2.x/doc - but one lands at the
http://www.tinyos.net/tinyos-2.x/doc/ page. This is confusing for once.
Also, seeing an external link (not a tinyos.net link) on the front page
suggests that you're leaving the site - whereas you're actually not.

just my $.02 regarding site consistency :)
