Hello, I am attempting to perform a rather complicated algorithm on the MIT Cricket motes for my 4th year thesis project.
I am however concerned that my extensive use of floats in my algorithm is degrading the performance of my motes. I'm hoping to implement this algorithm using fixed point arithmetic instead. Do you know of any libraries or previous work in the area? For my project I need +,-,x,/, as well as ^2 and sqrt and also sine, cos and atan.
