When the sinknode does not run multihop router, it is impossible for nodes to converge to a connected network, because no root of topology tree exists. So node1 cannot recognize node2 as its parent.
TOSBase just received message of broadcast type or of the same group id and forward to UART address, so it can receive message from node2.
