Hi All,

Just want to clarify that Crossbow's plans are to continue servicing and
supporting the research and academic communities.

Crossbow continues to offer TelosB Motes, for example, which would be
functional replacements for anyone who was using the Moteiv versions. Product
details are at: http://www.xbow.com/Products/productdetails.aspx?sid=252

Keep in mind though, that Crossbow has nothing to do with 'Boomerang', Moteiv's
TinyOS distribution. The software support for TelosB can be found in the open
source TinyOS 1.x and 2.x distributions.

In fact, rather than exiting the market, Crossbow has some interesting products
to be announced for the academic/research communities.

If you need more information, contact Crossbow at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Sincerely,

Giri Baleri

Subject: Re: [Tinyos-help] Surprising news

Not only that, but they took down all their support site info with
(apparently) no warning, along with the nice help list search page.
Hopefully the xbow telosb will fill our tmote sky needs as they arrive.

Could it be that Joe, Cory, and Rob have seen the light of JavaME?
I imagine we will miss their very useful input to this list.

What I don't understand is how they knew that I just two days ago blew-away a
working MICA/TOS dev system in order to try to get their Boomerang stuff
installed and working...
