Re the suggestion about DS2401, I should have mentioned that my board is a home brew, tmote compatible but without the DS2401. As for the USB interface, I'm using a Polulu chip which is different to the tmote so I'll need to check out how it gets its unique ID (if it has one). Apart from the above, no-one yet referred to my need to allocate nodes to different channel numbers. . I suppose a crude way would be (nodeID mode 10)+11 to cover channels 11 to 20. Any better ideas?
