Hi Sam, For TinyOS you have to specify the platform for which the code is to be compiled. PC here means that the code should be compiled to run on your PC. Of course your PC is not a mote, so this means implicitly that your code should run as simulation. Make PC thus creates an executable that will simulate a number of nodes in a simulated radio network. For more details see the tutorial: http://www.tinyos.net/tinyos-1.x/doc/tutorial/lesson5.html
By the way, this has changed for TinyOS 2.x. I think that for TinyOS 2.x the idea is to not only simulate the network but also the hardware. Thus the command to build the simulation for TinyOS 2.x would be "make micaz sim". For more details see again the relevant tutorial: http://www.tinyos.net/tinyos-2.x/doc/html/tutorial/lesson11.html Cheers, Urs Renee Azhen wrote: > dear all: > Is there anyone can tell me what is mean of "Make pc"? > what is the mean of "pc" here? > Best regards > Sam _______________________________________________ Tinyos-help mailing list [email protected] https://www.millennium.berkeley.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tinyos-help
