Is %T replaced with /opt/tinyos-2.x/tos ? If so, none of my platform

Without the Hpl files about MSP430 and CC2420? I doubt it.
So how did it work? From the ecosens1.target file?
I answered my question: The Makefile had includes that let it find
platform Hpl files....
So now the question is Can you do this in either place? Can you pull
in dirs to look in from support/make/ecosens1.target just as well as
from a Makefile? If so, it would be better style to use the .target
file, right?
Besides a %T directive, should we have a %C directive that is the
contrib root?
Thanks,
