Hi Abdullah,
Yes, XSniffer simply forwards packets it hears over the UART, so it can
"sniff" multi-hop packets as long as they are transmitted within
single-hop range of the sniffer.
The most common problem users face with getting packets out of XSniffer
is the baud rate difference:
XSniffer uses 115k baud for the serial port connection
XMeshBase uses 56k baud for the serial port connection
You will also want to confirm that your radio channel is the same as the
network.

Subject: [Tinyos-help] XSniffer and XMesh
Hello..
I am trying to run XSniffer to monitor the packets over mesh network.
The XMesh_Users_Manual says that the "XSniffer does not run XMesh" in
page 111 and at the same time it says "XSniffer allows users to monitor
multi-hop communication over XMesh" also in page 111. Can anyone explain
to me this? I have a mesh network which works fine and MoteView shows
all data. But when I switch to XSniffer, I can not see any packets.
