I was thinking the firmware is in the CVS somewhere under boomerang,
but I didn't find it.

I'm pretty sure I'm having a problem with the interaction between the
mote and the tmote-connect. When I run the base station on my desktop
I get packets from the oscope mote. Then I take that same base station
mote, connect to the tmote connect, and it recognizes it. However, it
never shows that it receives any packets on the web page or if I ask
for the status using the command port.

The motecom and sf commands I listed in my first email work fine under
tinyos-1.x.
You can connect a serial forwarder (that opens a local port 9001) to a
serial forwarder
that has opened a port 9001 on a remote computer.
