I think you can start using micaz directly. Please follow the instruction for installing tinyos 2.x from http://www.tinyos.net/tinyos-2.x/doc/html/install-tinyos.html then check out the RSSIsample code from the cvs (or else let me know and I will send you a tar). From here on you can put this in the app directory and use it. For tutorial on tinyos 2.x please visit the site http://docs.tinyos.net/index.php/TinyOS_Tutorials
