Hi All, I am facing this problem on running the java GUI for surge application. The system will be dead slow or hangs when I run the surge application on tmote sky connected through USB, I can see the nodes on GUI but updates and other actions on GUI are really slow.
I am using tinyos-1.x (updated) with Cygwin (latest) on Windows XP Sp2 and on Dell laptop, vostro 1400, 2 GHz, 2GB RAM Below are few things I have tried so for 1. Different tmotes 2. Reinstalling the tinyos package and cygwin etc. 3. Upgrading the JVM and java packages 4. Setting virtual memory to Max 5. Updating BOIS, drivers etc 6. Reinstalled the OS from scratch. I have tried running the same java application on different machine it works fine. We use imote2 in our research projects which works fine. Please let me know if you have come across such weird problem. Let me know if you need more information to address the problem. Thank you, Lohith
