If you are using XMesh apps from MoteWorks, then configuring them in High Power (HP) mode would leave the radio in Receive state all the time and thus ensure continuous reception. Enabling the end to end ACK on the packets would make sure that a acknowledgement is sent upon the packet is received at the base. Giri
