Hi I was wondering if someone has any experience working with the magnetometer on the MTS310 board. I'm trying to use it to detect parked cars (which is one of the example uses given), and I'm not sure how to calibrate it, or what the x- and y-axis readings represent. Also, when I bring metal objects close to the board, only the x-axis reading changes. Does anyone know why this happens?
I'm using TinyOS 2 with a micaz board. Thanks in advance! -- Nikhil
