I've reverted the entire repository back to the old one until i get
these bugs figured out.

if you messed up your system in the meantime, you need to do

sudo apt-get update
sudo dpkg --remove --ignore-depends=tinyos-msp430,tinyos-avr,tinyos nesc
sudo apt-get install nesc
