Dear all,

I am running tinyos 2 with the cygwin and my hardware is MIB600 and micaz
motes.

When I try TestSerial application, I got the following output:

$ java TestSerial -comm [EMAIL PROTECTED]:10002
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:10002: resynchronising
Sending packet 0
Sending packet 1
Sending packet 2
Sending packet 3
Sending packet 4

It seems there is no packet coming back from my serial port. What could be
the reason? And how do I solve it? Would appreciate your help very much.

Thanks,
Jane

Subject: [Tinyos-help] SerialForwarder "write failed" with MIB600

Hi, I am learning TinyOS 2.0 and trying to run the AntiTheft application. I
am using MIB600 and Micaz.

I used the command "java net.tinyos.sf.SerialForwarder -comm
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:10001" to start the SerialForwarder in a Cygwin
window, and run the "./run" command in another cygwin window.

When I click "update" in the AntiTheft GUI, the "packets written" field in
the SerialForwarder window increments but a "write failed" message occurs.

Could you please let me know if I used the correct command or parameter?
Thank you very much.

Jane
