It definitely depends.
1) Type of routing protocol, version, and configuration of
2) Network connectivity, including those nasty events that cause dropped packets
3) Topology of network
4) "Real time" or simulation time?
5) {I'm sure this isn't inclusive}

And, if this is TOSSIM, test it -- then see if your numbers agree :)
