Thanks! I went to the manufactures website, downloaded the driver for the 
cable, and restarted. I'm still not seeing anything from "ls /dev/tty*" that 
looks right, or different from before I installed the new driver for that 
matter. I checked again and the cable is for RS232 devices, which I believe is 
what the MIB510 is. Any other ideas?
