Hi there, Our group is using IRIS node, and we want to implment some algorithm that the node transmit power can be dynamic changed according to a certain metric (Possbly the duration between the adjustment may very short). Possibly is based on TYMO, and add addtional fields in its RREQ and RREP messages. As I check the RF230 data sheet and TinyOS 2.x, finding that there is 16 level RF power can be set about uniform distributed between 2 mW and 0.02 mW and the place where tinyos set this value. Anyone can foresee some potenial issues and hardwear limitations? Has someone done similarly before.
